I remember Hank Harrison (Gladstone Odduck) telling me in 1978 that the Dead had a rule about not eating "rat burgers" before a show.

IMHO, The "King" makes thee worst rat burgers, worst milkshakes, and wallows in his corporate partially hydrogenated oil...

Can't he see those lawyers circling overhead?

And sire, get outta my bed with your sausage!

Eecchh!

My father baby sat Courtney in 1963 (or '64) for Hank in NYC. But nobody in the music world knew who Courtney was then.

Yeah, I read the 1st edition of Hank Harrison's "The Dead Book" with the worm biting it's own tail on the cover. It also had a flexi-disc inside of a Neal Cassidy rap at the Acid tests, and some weird ass Grateful Dead shit.... probably from the time when Hank still managed the band. They released him shortly after their first record release party, (if you will) for the Scorpio 45, "Stealin'" . Hank admitted to me the Dead were afraid Hank would be too quick to use force (as in punch people out at the slightest provocation, and believe me, he did have an unpredictable and scary short fuse). I kid you not about my dad baby sitting Courtney... Hank emailed me that precious info recently.
